Meet Pancho!
Pancho is a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois looking for a home that understands the needs of an intelligent, active working breed.
He is affectionate with the people he knows and trusts and has done well meeting new people. Pancho appears to be housetrained, walks nicely on leash, and enjoys getting out to explore. He may also do well with some dogs following appropriate introductions and with dogs that respect his space.
Like many Belgian Malinois, Pancho thrives when both his body and mind are kept busy. He does not enjoy being confined and will need an adopter who can provide daily physical exercise, mental enrichment, structure, and ongoing training. Puzzle toys, scent work, training sessions, hikes, and other activities that challenge him will help him be successful.
Because of his breed and energy level, Pancho is best suited for a breed- or dog-experienced owner who is committed to meeting his needs and helping him reach his full potential.
