About Yoyo

This 5-year-old Chow Chow mix forms deep bonds with the people he trusts. Once you’re in his circle, Yoyo is affectionate, loyal, and happiest spending time by your side. One of our volunteers recently shared that walks with Yoyo helped them through the loss of their own dog. He has a way of making people feel seen.

Yoyo walks beautifully on leash, rides well in the car, appears to be housetrained, and absolutely enjoys being groomed. He appreciates a predictable routine and the company of people he knows well.

Like many Chows, Yoyo is looking for an experienced owner who understands the value of earning a dog’s trust. He would do best in an adult-only home and should not live with cats. Yoyo can be selective about his canine companions, but has done well with some dogs, particularly female dogs.

After spending nearly a year with us, we’d love to see Yoyo find the person he’s been waiting for. For the right home, he’ll be more than a pet—he’ll be a devoted companion and loyal friend.
